Redeeming The Time

Rena Faye Kennerly Rapp lived from 1905 to 1992. She began writing poetry in the midst of the Great Depression and continued writing until she was in her early 70s. Many of her poems were written as "specimen" poems for poetry contests she sponsored and judged. But even these revealed her humor, her faith, and her deep love of nature. A self-educated woman, she nonetheless revealed the extent of her learning and the mastery of her art.
