As a youngster, his mother was strict and wanted to prove to the doubters in her family that her son would be the trophy grandson. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. He would grow to become an Addict /Alcoholic, trail-mixing his substances and partying in excess. Later, through redemption, he saw an opportunity to write his debut book, Refurbished Soul, in an effort to convey to his daughters who their daddy was, and what he would become for them, himself and others.
