This book continues a few years later from where Tales of Darlo left off. Sean and Ducka, each for their own reasons are back in the market town of their youth. They meet by chance at a funeral and, following the wake, catch up and tell tales about some of their former mates and introduce us to new characters such as Kipper who gets his name from flapping about and never adhering to his catch cry of 'Don't panic'.
