Another good book from Foster!!

This book was the perfect escape on a cold and rainy November day and is now my favorite of the series. What I loved most about it was that it didn't feel bogged down by supporting characters. It's nice to see Bella, Jenna, Leanna, and Amy again, but they already had their own stories and happy endings. They don't need to dominate the whole story. This story was exactly how it should be, focusing mostly on Matt, Mira, and her adorable son Hagen with occasional cameos from everyone else. I'm such a sucker for a good single parent romance and this one delivered big time with a great mix of sweet and sexy. Another five star book.

Three is not a crowd after all I want somebody like Matt. He has everything that a woman need from good looks, hard worker and a heart of gold. He also knows how to take care of his woman. I wish he is real and maybe my husband will learn bed tricks from him. Seaside Whispers is another sweet and hot book of Melissa Foster. This author never stops to tickle her readers with amazing book. I so loved this book as the rest of Seaside Summer characters. Three is not a crowd after all. Mira who has a son named Hagen who is very smart. You will never stop admiring this kid. He is beyond intellectual who loves books and never stop to learn new things. Their story will melt your heart. This book is very funny too. The woman who always get pranked had her revenge. I am so happy to read some of the characters happily ever after from the rest of Seaside Summer. When love is always there, you can never get wrong. Mira is such an inspiration who has a big heart to help Matt's father and his store not only saved the owner's son from going back to his past life. Seaside Whispers is such a romantic book to read. it is very hot as well. Just like the rest of Melissa Foster's book, this book is hard to put it down as well.

This book is exactly what I needed in this cold December. You may know already that I love Melissa Foster’s books. There hasn’t been a single one that I haven’t liked. She has a way of taking you into the story and making you feel a part of it. I could feel myself on the beach and in the warmth of the sun. This story has lots of romance, and fun. It’s a strong story with some twists. I also love all of the great characters! I don’t want to say much because I most definitely don’t want to ruin it for you. But I am going to say that the ending of this story left me wanting more!

Matt and Mira was an old fashioned type love story. Mira is a mom and does not want to jump into sex or a realtionship because of her son. Matt is her Mira's boss's brother and that makes it all more interesting. He knows he should stay away but has had eyes for her for a long time. He gets along with her son who also adores him. The couple takes things slow and the ending is sweet. I really enjoyed this story because it was fun to read and such a sweet love story. For a man to step in and help parent another's child is so awesome! Great read!

No matter the context this was on sexy, hot professor and a single, sassy mother. I have to give kudos and more to Melissa Foster. She gives a beautiful written story with each new offering. I have over the course of this last year fallen in love with her characters from the complete Love in Bloom multi-series series. Each new couple have the own individual struggles, needs, desires, hopes and dreams. This one was no exception. I fell head over heels in love with Mira and Matt. Mira stole my heart because of her sense of self and her soft pride and respect for who she was and what she wanted. Matt, Mira and Hagen have a place with me. It was their interaction with each other that gave the setting a bit more. Matt and Mira both were dealing with a lot of things and the gradual growing relationship gave a bit of stability to their friendship. Having both sides of their perspectives shared made the story that much more enjoyable. We were able to get down to the heart of things. Melissa Foster has a way with the dual POV that makes you want to step in and get more out of it all. You see more than just the surface of things. You can see the heart of it all and the deep emotional affects that go with them. I have said it many times before and will say it again. I will continue to read more of her work and get just as much love, compassion, passion, emotion, and more from each one. Just in a different way with new characters and situations. This book is part of a continuous series but in no way are you hindered by that aspect. The was a fully complete read that did not require you having any prior knowledge of the previous books. I will tell you that you will fall in love. With the story, the characters, the child.

Melissa Foster…. Oh what you do to me. The heat, the passion, and the love are always amazing in your books. Seaside Whispers is no exception. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE all that what I really enjoy is the friendships. The Seaside Girls are absolutely the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I love how the open their “club” to other girls as they become part of the friendship circle. Of course there was chunky dipping, helping Mira achieve her goals, and support with every aspect of life. The relationship between Matt and Mira was sweet. They’ve been flirting through text and occasional visits for over a year and when he decides to take a sabbatical for 3 months their relationship takes off. Matt didn’t just have a relationship with Mira he had a relationship with Mira and Hagen, Mira’s 6 year old son. The way he accept and included Hagen in all they did warmed my heart. I could understand how Mira was anxious about just letting Matt into their life when his plans were to leave again. Hagen and Mira both fell in love with Matt and him leaving would shatter them. I loved the ending. Theresa is hilarious. Bella, one of the Seaside Girls, has pranked Theresa each season and Theresa gets the last word this season. I laughed so hard as tears fell because the moment was just so sweet and wonderful. I see a future with many more pranks.

I love Melissa Foster’s books. I have never read one that I didn’t like. I always love her characters – the men are hot, the females are strong and beautiful, the chemistry and romance are steamy. What I love more are Melissa’s romance stories and relationships that involve kids. She has done one other that I can recall off the top of my head that involved a single mother and one of the beloved Melissa men. That particular story still ranks high on my “love” list and now Seaside Whispers is right up there with that one! I think it’s the combination of these strong, serious men who are just so caring with kids! All of Melissa’s books can be read alone, but every character at least appears in each book and gives you so much more reason to read every book in the series. We always get involved with the entire family – past, present, and future. I highly recommend picking up Seaside Whispers. Just be warned – you will fall in love and not want to put it down!

Matt, your everyday superhero, is home on sabbatical and has some serious life changing career decisions to make. Mira is a single mother of the brilliant Hagen and works with Matt's father at his hardware store. Matt and Mira both have feelings for each other, but always take Hagen and Matt's career into consideration when they get close to letting their feelings for each other show. Taking a chance by letting their heart over their heads, this is a great tale of how pursuing our true dreams can be the best thing we do for ourselves and the ones we love. I love how Foster continues to show that love and family go hand in hand in a prosperous and fruitful relationship, and how much we learn to appreciate the simple things when we take time to slow down and take a break from the everyday routine. *An advance copy of this book was provided to me for review purposes only*

Matt Lacroux is a professor at Princeton University. He has taken a three month sabbatical and returned home to work on writing his book and to determine whether or not he wants to return to teaching. His other reason for returning is to see Mira Savage, a single mother with a six year old son, Hagen. A faulty showerhead brings them together again sooner rather than later and they both are quick to realise that their desire for each other runs deep. I loved reading about a single mum embarking on a new relationship. My mum was a single mum working and looking after me and my younger sister, then got into a new relationship and remarried. I loved the way Matt included Hagen in everything. It was great to read more about the wonderful Seaside characters. I have not read all seven books before this but it was nice to read what is happening with the ones I have read and I look forward to reading the ones I have not read yet. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book*

Melissa Foster has proved that love at first sight is is real! Matt Lacroux has a life at Princeton, although his life revolves around teaching and writing. Mira Savage is a single mom, raising her brilliant son and working in Matt's family's hardware store. Matt and Mira met months before, and they can't stop thinking about each other. They've managed a few short dates, but they both want more. When Matt takes a sabbatical and comes to Seaside they finally have the chance to have the relationship they deserve. However, Mira's life is in Seaside and Matt's is in Princeton. Can they make their relationship work? Or will they all wind up with broken hearts? This book is a wonderful addition to the Seaside stories. It can completely be read alone, but it's so neat to watch couples from previous books grow in their friendships and relationships. That's my favorite part of Mrs. Foster's books...how the books weave together to make an amazing series. I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Mixing business and pleasure can often result in disaster - but Melissa Foster always has a way of making situations go up in flames (in a hot, sexy, WOO HOO kind of way!). Matt and Mira had a connection a year prior but with the only type of relationship available - long distance - they parted ways. Working for his father, along with being a single mother, Mira felt it was best to keep it that way. When he returns to work on his book, the sparks are still there. I love how they both put their responsibilities first and thought about ALL parties involved. The sexiness of an author is more than Mira can withstand and soon, their story starts to get steamy....so steamy that it's like when you wipe off the bathroom mirror and it's instantly fogged up again! As time passes, I found myself wondering who, if either of them, was going to up-root their life to make a big change for the other. I could see how difficult of a decision that would be and my heart broke along with theirs! Such a sweet couple in the mix of the group of friends! Each book opens new sides to the friends and I fall in love all over again! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

I have read a few of Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom series books so far and they have all been amazing. Honestly I am ready to read every single one and there is a lot of them. What I like about this series is that they are stand alone books but certain character in the books get their own stories. We grow with thee character and I love that. This time I read Seaside Whispers and Wow what a story! Who doesn't love a hot, protective, thoughtful, and loving man like Matt? I mean this man is every woman's dream come true, especially a single mother. I have been in Mira's shoes being a single mom doing everything for my kids and not letting me think about falling in love. So I understand Mira and why she is so scared to let herself fall for Matt. She is a smart and self sufficient woman and she is a good mother. Matt is the smart and strong man who is a protector of anyone he feels needs saving. Matt doesn't want to save Mira but he wants to be there with her and make her his. He is amazing with Mira's son Hagen and falls in love with him as well. I mean this book is amazing! I couldn't put it down. The love scene are hot and sexy. The story line is believable and enticing. The best part is there is a happy ever after ending so no cliffhanger which is awesome. I loved it and if you love romance then you will love Seaside whispers.

Seaside Whispers is book 8 in the Love in Bloom, Seaside Summers series. I think this book might possibly be my favorite written by this very talented author. Matt LaCroux is an amazing man and this author couldn't have chosen a more perfect woman and child combo for him to fall in love with. Mira Savage is a very good single mother and very protective of her and her son's hearts. Her very smart son, Hagan, six years old, is absolutely adorable. Waiting for Matt to decide on whether he was going back to teaching in New Jersey or staying in the Cape with her and Hagen was agonizing for Mira. Matt has been so educationally driven his whole life no one had any idea which direction he would choose. Watching how Matt treated Mira was like floating on a huge cloud of very real and very passionate romance but ALWAYS keeping her son in mind. Absolutely AMAZING! I can't wait to devour more of this author's books.

4 stars Melissa Foster never disappoints me. She is truly a writing genius. No matter her subject manner, she nails it. Seaside Whisper is no different. This is a beautiful story about Matt, who comes to the small town to regroup and get to relax a little while on sabbatical from Princeton. He is a very smart man who has been focused on his career for the longest time. Now, he has met someone who has peeked his interest and wants to see if he can make it work. Mira is a single mom of a cute little boy who doesn't have time for a love life. She is focused on her son and only him. She is not even sure what dating is anymore. To add to it, Mira is not sure she wants to start anything with Matt, knowing he is only there for a short time. Why add more heartache to her or her son when Matt leaves. Matt is so sure that this will work, he is going to try any angel he can to win Mira over. I love this Seaside series. I especially love how Melissa can work in past characters and intertwine them into more and more books! It is like visiting old friends with new ones!!

http://www.njkinnysblog.com/2016/12/arcbookreview-seaside-whispers-love-in.html Seaside Whispers is part of Seaside summers series and also a part of "Love in Bloom" family. This is the first book that I have read in Seaside Summers series but despite this, the book can be easily read as a standalone. Characters from the previous books do make an appearance but they didn't interfere much and I didn't feel the need to read the previous books first to understand the story in this one. In this book we meet Matt who is a college professor back home to write his book and Mira, a single mother who works at the hardware store run by Matt's father. Both are attracted towards each other but personal responsibilities are holding them back. Will they have a happily-ever-after? I enjoyed visiting Matt and Mira and thoroughly enjoyed loved their story. The plot is simple but Melissa's execution creates magic to make this simple story into a memorable one. She has introduced just the right amount of humour, angst, emotional upheaval, passion and lots and lots of entertainment. A lovely feel good romance, I finished it in one sitting and stayed engrossed throughout and look forward to reading the other books in this series. All in all, Seaside Whispers by Melissa Foster is an entertaining romance with memorable characters, beautiful settings and an engaging story. 4 out of 5 stars to it and recommended to all adult lovers of romance. I received an ARC for review and the above is my honest and unbiased opinion. This review is also available on Njkinny's World of Books & Stuff (NWoBS)

OMG! What a beautiful story, it pulled at my heartstrings... Matt is the kind of man to make you breathless and your panties wet.. I love how prottective he is about Mira and her adorable son, he hasn't stopped thinking about them since the first time he met them a year ago.. He puts his life on hold for three months and heads to cape cod to spend time with them.. The more he's with them, the harder he falls.. Matt is sexy, smart, caring, protective, he's everything a woman could wish for.. If you want a man makes your heart flutter, that puts a huge smile on your fave, then this is the man for you.. This is a must read.. I can't get enough of Melissa's amazing mind and can't wait to see what's next!!

As I've written many times, I love Melissa Foster's books. Those set on Cape Cod take me back to a family vacation when I was 16 and we went to Cape Cod. I love that area and really get into the settings around the books set there. Matt has always been a favorite character of mine. He was different from the rest of the characters. I never liked that he didn't live on Cape Cod but he made enough appearances - whether actually visiting Cape Cod or just in a description of his life as a Princeton professor - for me to keep my eye on him and wait for Melissa to tell his story. Mira is a woman I can relate to. I was a single mom, still am but those kids are all adults. She is hesitant to date because of work and her son. I get that. I don't think my kids met a guy I dated until over 11 years after my marriage ended. I basically put a lot on hold so I could focus on my children. If you want to read a love story that has you pulling for the couple to find a way to stay together, pick up a copy of Seaside Whispers.

Melissa delivers a real friendship with her own captivating story of desire between two awesome characters. They are real and very likeable. Matt and Mira are different in their goals and lives. Matt is a professor and he decides to return to Cape Cod to work on his book. Mira is a single mom trying to save a company. Now Matt seems to be captivated with Mira even tho they have had many miles between them. It wasnt long after his return, Matt works his charm on Mira and her son (YES, ladies you can swoon now). Everything is wonderful for the relationship.... Friendship, romance and some major chemistry... well except Matts sabbatical ends in 3 months. Hmmm, we will see how the passionate and so suitable couple will need to adapt

When I pick up a Melissa Foster book now, I just know that I am going to be left feeling all warm and fuzzy and fall totally in love with the characters. Seaside Whispers is no different, apart from Matt. He just seems to be the most absolutely perfect guy out there and everything he does throughout this book just makes you love him even more! Matt Lacroux is a University Professor who has taken a sabbatical and came back to Seaside to work on a book, where he just so happens to reconnect with Mira who he met a year previous and who also works in his fathers hardware store, Mira Savage is a single mother, and her son Hagen is her number one priority, finally after a year of messaging with Matt he is back in town and she doesn't know what to make of their relationship as he is only to be home for 3 months or so. They both have an amazing and intense chemistry toward each other, and whilst Matt is the perfect gentleman he always takes into consideration Hagen in everything he does and say with and around Mira. For me it made me love Matt even more as most guys probably would run a mile at starting a relationship with a single mother (I may be wrong) but he gets on well with Hagen and shows an interest in him and they do "guy stuff" together which I think just sealed with deal for Mira. This was a great friends to lovers story and whilst it was Matt and Mira's story as usual we got to read about the characters from Seaside, and whilst this is last in the Seaside Summers series it opens the doors for the upcoming Bayside series. Long time readers of Seaside will just love the ultimate prank pulled as come on it wouldn't be Seaside without one now would it. As with all Melissa's books this one can be easily read as a stand alone, but with the cast of characters at your disposal in this book you will want to go and read every single book! 5 stars

“That’s what love is. It changes everything you thought you knew about yourself.” “Breathe, baby, or I’ll breathe for you.” Once again, Melissa Foster has given me a sweet and swoon worthy love story. Seaside Whispers is the 8th book in the Seaside Summers series, but can totally be read as a stand alone. And while this might be my first book in this particular series, I know without a shadow of a doubt that it will not be my last. Seaside Whispers is smart, well written and entertaining. This is a beautiful story about finding love and second chances. Mira and Matt are impossible to not fall in love with and their story will just sweep you away and captivate your heart. I loved every moment of this story and just could not get enough of these characters. Seaside Whispers hit all the marks for me. This story was light on the drama and had my heart in a constant state of swoon. And I promise you, Melissa Foster’s alpha males, do not disappoint.

Anyone who reads and loves the books by Melissa Foster knows they can get a bit risque! What I really love about them and why I keep reading them is that they portray real life scenarios. Okay, maybe the knight on a white charger rarely if ever appear in any of our lives--but these books are what daydreams are made of. Some of you are and most of us know single mothers and what they really go through trying to raise their kids and work-not easy!! Well Mira Savage is just such a woman. Because of what has happened in her life she has big trust issues when it comes to men. Plus she worries about how her son will react if she does date. Enter Matt Lacroux who has been a friend of Mira's since a wedding where they met. Of course it doesn't help that he lives and works far from Cape Cod--where both Mira and his family live. He truly is a knight in shining armor!! Will Mira be able to get over her trust issues? How will her son react? Is there a happily ever after? You will just have to read this and find out!
