About the Author

Tricia Zoeller writes fantasy stories filled with mystery, magic, and mayhem. After a decade of working as a speech-language pathologist, she succumbed to the voices in her head and wrote her first book, urban fantasy FIRST BORN, published in May 2013. FIRST BORN is a paranormal mystery about a shapeshifter in Atlanta. It is the first book in the Lily Moore Series.

THE DARKLING CHRONICLES is her young adult series that delves into alternate planes, portals, and mystical creatures.

She lives in Marietta, Georgia with her husband, Lou, her little yappy dog, Lola Belle, and her big orange mutant cat, George. Her two stepsons, Joseph and Robert, make stopovers as well, making sure to keep life an adventure.

Writing has always been a part of her life—like breathing and chocolate. For more information about Tricia and her books, visit:

Wow! This story has to be my favorite yet, and that’s a hard thing decide, because I love them all. As I love the bond of sisters in real life with my own, it was a pleasure to get to know another set of sisters, Natcha and Nalene. Natcha is the eldest of the sisters, and very protective of Nalene. Natcha is a creature of fire with the ability to cloak herself, which bewilders others. She risks everything to help one even though it will put many in danger and her in hiding. Find out what happens to Natcha and Nalene! Overall thoughts on the series so far: These stories have the perfect pace, and with world building that feels like a living breathing character in and of itself it makes for very enjoyable reading. I can’t wait for the last two installments, Shadow Ice, book 4 and Shadow King, book 5.  I’m super mega excited that Mrs. Zoeller has put these stories into combined editions for paperback format. My keeper shelf has been waiting for The Darkling Chronicles, Shadows 1 (which includes the first three short stories) Eeeeeeeeps!! Gonna one-click this one ASAP! I encourage any lover of YA/NA Fantasy to read these stories and get lost in Tricia Zoeller’s Darkling Chronicles and the World of Montenai.
