The Mageri Series is by far my favorite series EVER....Shine made me laugh and cry, kept me on the edge of my seat, and I wanted t to continue so badly that I prolonged the ending over 2 days. Trouble just seems to find Siler where ever she goes, but in this book, its not just Silver in trouble its everyone she loves. But when her love and devotion to Logan is tested you will not believe the lengths she will go to. Justus is a man of honor and I love him even more than I did before, Simon is the funniest Breed in the hstory of Breed, and Christian broke my heart in this book.Sunny, Finn, Novis, Page and the Cross brothers are so important to the outcome of this book and I love each of them. If you are a fan of Urban Fantasy or Paranormal this is a must read, fast paced, edge of your seat , with characters that you love book.

Shine, book 5, the final book in the Mageri Series is an emotionally charged journey into the paranormal world! It kept me reading the entire series...as each book in this series got better and better. Highly recommend Dannika Dark and the Mageri Series. I was so sad to finish this series, but soon discovered some...The Gift, and Risk, and Closer. Yay! Thank you!!

Yes you need to read. Grab them all and snuggle into your reading chair. This is complex, interesting and will drag you in! Plus this being the "so called" final of the series does a lovely completion that fullfills all those end of series needs.

I love this series and was on pins and needles for this book to arrive because we were promised that all the loose ends would be neatly tied up and we would feel that Silvers story was complete. As I finished reading the last page I sat in silence, "but what about Silver and Logan? is that it?? no ceremony? " yes, there was a Happily Ever After....for Justus and many other characters but wasn't this a series based on Silvers journey? Yes, we found out about her creation.....and Logan and her bond is stronger than ever, but their story isn't complete. What about Sunny and her brother Kane, yes I know that Closer is about Kane but the story was very odd and not Dannikas best. Don't get me wrong this book was very good.....but it left so many questions still unanswered.

Dannika Dark pulled together all the tiny threads from her previous books in this series and tied them into a beautiful colored bow. She gave us hope, anxiety and happiness throughout. Zoe's fate has turned the Mageri world on its head and it can only be the better for it. Because of her attack, so many lives have been enriched and even she has become a stronger and more capable Mage in this book. All of our favorites are back and their lives are twisted and stretched in this book until the dramatic battle with evil. The choices that Silver must make and the secrets that are revealed are amazing. This is a perfect ending to this series and Dannika left the door open to some possibilities in the future of this world. Sorry to see it end, but very happy with the end product

I really have enjoyed this series and hate that it’s ending. There were several scenes that had my heart in my throat and tears in my eyes. I did love getting to see more of Justus and Paige in this installment. But overall I felt the story lacked that something to give it a farewell feeling. I would love to see the Mageri characters again someday because in my heart it’s not over.

So I finally made it, Shine is the last book in the Mageri series and to say I was a little worried when I started it would be an understatement. I thought Shine would be action packed, there was so many plot arcs that needed to be cleaned up and I wanted to see them all. Yet, at 19% in I noted that while I was enjoying the book I was a little bored. Then at 40%, Itransporter_2 noted it again. I liked being able to see how everyone ended their story, but I wish they could have tied these things up during a fight scene. You know, kind of like how Jason Statham always figures out a way to take off his shirt while fighting at least once per movie?? I was also really mad at the author during parts of this story. You see something happened in book four, No, I’m not going to tell you what. Just know that it was bad and so sad. I tried to get over it, I tried to put the events of the past behind me and move on with the story but I couldn’t. And why couldn’t I, you ask? Because the damn author kept bringing it back up. Every time I thought I was able to move on the author would throw a reminder out there and then I’d want to cry all over again. Yes, she made me cry. Damn author. We get to see a little bit of the story from what felt like every character in Shine and while I enjoyed that, it also left me feeling like we didn’t get as much time with Logan and Silver. Many of the secondary characters have begun to feel like main characters and I found myself just as invested in their story as Logan and Silver; yet, the fact of the matter is Logan and Silver are still our main characters and I want to spend the most time with them. It left me feeling a little unsatisfied. When Shine was all said and done the story is complete, but yet in some way it felt unfinished. I think this was totally from my unwavering desire to know each and every single thing about the characters I fall in love with. I also hope to hear more about at least two of our characters (Simon & Christian) because I don’t feel their stories have been told.
