She's his only salvation

Ace Clemmons has wanted Janelle from the moment he first saw her. Taking her captive while he carried out his last hit as a member of Dirty Eleven nearly broke him. Now that he's gone straight, he's back in her life, looking to stake his claim. He can't erase the past but he'll do anything to make it up to her.

Janelle Parker needs a new start, far away from the trailer park and the strip club. A down and dirty affair with a tattooed criminal is a step in the wrong direction, but she can't resist Ace's deliciously commanding touch, which has haunted her dreams for months. Soon they're both in too deep, falling hard and fast—until an old feud with a rival motorcycle club explodes into an all-out war. Dirty Eleven's enemies won't hesitate to hurt Janelle to get to Ace. She has to fight to survive…and for the fiercest love she's ever known.

2.5 Stars Reviewed by Annie and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog The Dirty Eleven MC series sounded like something I would enjoy. While a lot of the core characteristics of biker books is present, I really felt that the author was trying vary hard to make Ace and Janelle gritty and sexy. As a former member of the club, Ace already has that rough edge to him but I found that being in his head was tiring. He goes over the same thoughts over and over again and if you’ve already read the first book in the series, you’re already well aware of the situation between him and Janelle. Even as the details were revealed, I felt like it was a little redundant to go over the same emotions and details again and again. Normally when a man pursues a woman, their persistence can be what it takes to win her over. However, I found that Ace got annoying quick. Especially when Janelle wasn’t a particularly appealing character to me. As a stripper, she gets judged a lot but it wasn’t that that turned me off her character, it was the fact that she seemed so scattered all the time. It made me wonder what Ace saw in her. While I admired her desire to make a better life for herself and her kid, I didn’t like how she treated Ace in the beginning. Both character have big flaws and the author didn’t put many other redeeming qualities in them to make up for it. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will continuing the series.

Ace and Janelle meet through unfortunate circumstances in book one of this series and both feel a spark of dark chemistry despite those original circumstances. He is a motorcycle club hitman and she is a stripper. She has a 12 year old son and he has a pre-K daughter being raised by someone else, though he wants custody. Both have lived hard lives and see something in the other that might complete and make them whole…if they can find a way to make it work. There is violence, foul language and graphic sex with elements of bondage. This is not a light happily ever after simple romance but one that is edgier with deeper conflicts and potential for having two people find their happily ever after. I will say this is not for everyone BUT I am a sucker for the bad boy – bad girl finding their happily ever after and did thoroughly enjoy this book. I look forward to finding out what might happen in the next book in this series…I have a feeling it MIGHT be the turn of Tiffany and Rex next…and what a combustible combination they should be! 4.5 stars
