It is difficult for a writer to be innovative in science fiction. All the tropes have been tried over and over again. This is a lost in time story, with the "now" protagonists trying to save the "future", a la Bill and Ted. The problem with reviewing newer authors is that you have to compare them to older ones, and I would put this story in the "Harry Harrison" style of science fiction, as the protagonists are thrown headlong into an adventure staying just ahead of trouble. The only part of the story that had me doubting was the idea that print media was still a trusted and venerated source of information, I only blinked past the point where it is mentioned that Israel and Palestine had become a united confederation, because why not, but print media being honored...come on. All in all a good read with some fresh twists.

Wow. This story has energy from the very first page and never stops. It's full of twists and turns and you really never know what might change on the next page. I loved it! No doubt, it's a time travel book of the best kind - I couldn't put it down.

This book had its fast moments and its slow moments but all around it was a great read! I thoroughly enjoyed the concept for the story and the characters themselves. The ending was excellent, and I even got a little misty eyed at times. A great recommendation for all who love time-travel novels.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this book. I did not start it with a great deal of expectation, but quickly found myself breezing through the story. Indeed, I finished it after only two sittings. Interesting novel about time travelling.

Signaling one of most interesting and compelling science fiction novels I've ever read. It's cleverness is only exceeded by the book's probing insights into love, values and the human spirit. Signaling is a page turner, so be prepared to miss meals and train stops.
