This book is very simple to use, which I love because I can just turn to the section I need, and look up the recipe I want, instead of having to skim through the whole book. I love how they explain to you the very basics in the beginning of the book in case you dont know how to cool poultry, meat, fish, vegetables, or pasta. They literally have you covered if you have never boiled water before. I personally cook but it was nice to see their suggestions. The only thing I would suggest for this book would be for there to be photos of what the dishes look like because I am a visual person. I love that there are recipes for breakfast dishes, vegetarian dishes, desserts and theres even a recipe in there for Jambalaya, which I am planning on cooking soon. At the end of the book theres also a very usefu guide on what type and brand of crock pot to buy. It gives you the features that each brand offers, therefore you can choose what you will be using it for

This Cookbook is so simple and easy. It's great for when you want to cook for two and it gives you tips and great recipes to make in a small slow cooker. A couple of the delicious recipes that I love to make are BBQ Chicken Wings, Jambalaya, Taco Salad, Italian Pot Roast, and Caramel Apple Cake.

Variety! This book is not only a great guide into the essentials of slow cooking but has a variety of different recipes for not only the typical slow cooker entrees for lunch and dinner but many delicious recipes for breakfast as well, I can't wait to try out the curried oatmeal and dried fruit recipe in chapter four. Also an excellent guide in food preservation for anyone shopping for two on a budget. Could have more pictures though but it doesn't take away from any information presented.

Being in a single-person household, I love the concept of this cookbook. It’s great to have slow cooker options that are already adapted  for a smaller number of eaters. The first part of the cookbook is really geared more toward novice slow cooker users. It is full of ideas and helpful hints on getting started with slow cooking. Those more experienced with slow cooking may not need this section, but it’s nice to have it just in case. The recipes are great. There are so many options that there is surely something to appeal to every palate.

I love this book! I especially loved the recipes for the Chicken Pot Pie and the Chicken and Dumplings they turned out great! There are many other recipes I can't wait to try. This book is easy to understand the directions for each recipe. I also the guide for the different brands and types of slow cookers with a list of the features so you can make an educated decision about your purchase.

Great book to go with your slow cooker and actually put it to regular use. I will be using this cookbook a lot, as the recipes are creative and mouth watering. The author makes the whole process easy and advises what to buy at the store, various techniques so that the food is prepared in the healthiest and tastiest way, and the fact that the portions are for two people, helps to avoid food waste. One of my favorite recipes in this book is the Cauliflower Curry.

I just got this book and cannot read it. Just about every recipe shows a "?" in front of the cup amount: ? cup of milk or ? cup of sour cream for example. I don't know if it is my Nook book or what but the recipes are useless.

This book is filled with recipes and good advice for cooking with a slow cooker (usually known to most people as a "Crock Pot"). Slow cookers apparently are not just for entrees! There are many recipes for other things, from soups and dips, to even desserts! Who knew? I do now. If you are a beginner int he kitchen, there is plenty of fresh and new advice on other things too...like buying, storing and portioning food, and basics on keeping a kitchen clean. As a food lover and frequent cook, I found these tips to be a bit condescending, but still...they are good tips. There are plenty of recipes in here that I will use, happily.

Looking for a quick, effortless way to cook for two? Slow Cooking for Two is just the book you need. Even if you feel out of time you can whip up Apple Berry Breakfast Cobbler or Caramel French toast to start your day, Curried Chicken Soup or Greek Chicken Sandwiches for lunch while thinking ahead to a dinner of Beef Bourguignon or Cassoulet! The Caramel Apple Cake for dessert sounds like a truly lovely treat!

I have found that cooking for two always leaves me with too many leftovers, so was happy to find this book dedicated, not only to cooking for two, but also using a slow cooker, which so simplifies life. All of the recipes I have tried have worked great. My wife and I particularly love the Pork Chops with Red Cabbage. The sweet and sour flavors with the red cabbage make a fantastic flavor combination and the pork chops laid on top as the whole thing slowly cooks releases the pork flavor into the cabbage. This has become one of the first places I now look for recipes that really work well for us and let us go on about our day without worrying about last minutes dinner preparation. Haven't tried the breakfast recipes, yet, but trust they will also work well and taste great.

I found this book very interesting, the recipes look delicious, I did have to take one star off bc I don't particularly care for the use of so much prepackaged items, but otherwise looks very good. I look forward to trying the french onion and cabbage soup. I received this e-book in exchange for an honest review

This ebook is helpful for those of us that are new to using a slow cooker, as well as those that would like more options with more creative ingredients. Although this is geared toward what seems as newly married couples or those just starting out with cooking, I find it was very helpful to me and I did learn a few tips. The cooking together tips in this ebook are charming and sweet. I hope we can try it sometime, cooking with 2 very young children does present some challenges to spending quality time with your mate. The recipes in this book are well written and I am most excited about the breakfast recipes. Having a sweet smelling, yet nutritious, hot breakfast to wake up to is sure to please. I am excited to make the Caramel French Toast and some of the fruit cobblers.

Love how easy it is to create delicious meals without spending all day in the kitchen. I love all the variety of recipes to pick from. I'm a vegetarian but my husband loves meat so I can now make him delicious meals without worrying. All the recipes are very easy to read and understand. It really is a great book for someone who doesn't know how to cook.

My crock pot has saved me many days I just don't feel like cooking. This cookbook opened new ideas on Egg dishes, Desserts, Sauces, Soups, and of course dinners.  The recipes are simple and straight forward .  This is perfect for newlyweds, singles, or pretty much anyone who needs to learn how to use the crockpot.

Even though I do not yet own a slow cooker I was very curious as to what slow cooking is and what one can actually achieve with a slow cooker. I was very pleasantly surprised to find all the answers to my questions about slow cooking in this book; it is very handy, informative and engaging. I learned a great deal about how slow cooking works, its benefits and various slow cooking techniques. After reading this book I can’t wait to get my hands on a slow cooker so I can try some yummy recipes like wild rice chili and barley risotto!

I am no longer afraid of my slow cooker! This book really showed me how useful a tool it can be, even though I’m just cooking for myself and my husband. I loved all of the recipes, too. There are tons of them, so I found plenty of options in the book even though I don’t eat meat. I also loved the tip about using cooking bags. No clean-up! Highly recommend.
