Logan receives an internship and is more than nervous. She knows it's make it or break it time, and Logan thinks by ratting on famous singer Arianna and her YUTalk page that she is helping out. Instead it brings a whirlwind of chaos for Logan. And Jeremy, the boy she loves and thought loved her is no longer returning her texts and stopped calling her weeks ago. She tries to bury herself in school and her internship, because finding out the truth might be something she can't face.I have never read the Star Crossed series, but after reading the first few pages it really didn't matter. The author provides enough backstory that I caught on to everything right away.I can say without a doubt if I was a younger audience I would live for this series. It's got everything: mystery, humor, romance, teen issues, celebrities, high school drama, you name it it's there. It's so cute, and so fun I had a blast reading it.And the mystery was fun too. I didn't guess it right away and that kind of writing is the best. The red herring tactic only goes so far and this one stepped away from it.The astrology was awesome and probably my favorite part of the whole experience of the book. I learned so much from this book about me and about other signs, it was really cool. And Logan throughout the book has articles about it, talks about it, and teaches others. It's great and I enjoyed that a lot.It even has some cool temp. tattoos in the back which I think any girl would love.I would love to read the rest of the series. It's so light and cheery, it would be something I would turn to for a smile.

The Astro Girl is back in this third book of the Star Crossed series. And might I say, back she is and traipsing around San Francisco (always wanted to go there!). I think that this third book in the series was my very favorite. I'm sure it's because I knew all the characters better than in book one *duh* and the plot was fun and suspenseful. I always like a good turn of events and Hill has given me just that. In this book, we get to see Logan in all her writing glory, but we also get to see some more of her friends Chilli and Paige. It was interesting to see their character development take off, especially for Paige. Plus, there was a whole new mystery for Logan to solve with the stars. It's funny how 3 little books could pull me in so much and actually interest me in astrology. Because I'm dead serious when I say I've never been into it. But, Hill has done an amazing job of presenting it in a way that intrigues the reader. Plus, with all the new characters and plot twists, you won't expect what awaits on the path of the cosmos. Because with high maintenance singers, kidnappings, costume parties and maybe some love at last for our dear Logan, you'll want to pick up this book. If you haven't read the first 2 and you like YA contemporary fiction, I recommend the series for a light fun read that will make you laugh and maybe even remember what good friends are for!
