Stuck in the Middle

Jake White was your typical middle-aged father, until by sheer bad luck, a sentient artificial intelligence (AI) in a worn-out alien scout ship befriended him and asked for help with a small problem. That small problem made Jake and an old Special Forces buddy, Marc Stack, the two most wanted terrorists on Earth.
