When Caleb Gray heads to the Texas coast to mentally prepare for a future he isn’t sure he wants, the last person he expects to see is Catie Dixon. Yeah, their mothers have been planning their wedding since they were born, but he and Catie are most definitely not friends. He can’t see her as anything but the annoying kid who followed him everywhere. Except, it’s really bothering him that everyone is staring at her in that bikini…

Catie got over her crush on Caleb ages ago. So why can’t she see past his ripped body or how unsettled he seems? She’s got her own problems, though. Her future has been set for years and now she’s dreaming of pulling the plug. A week at their families’ beach house is just what she needs to pull herself together, and she has no intention of letting Caleb back into her heart...which would be a whole lot easier if he’d put on a shirt.

But a forced week of togetherness full of beach parties,
waterslide mishaps, bonfires, and roller coasters sparks more than an understanding. What do you do when the person standing in the way of your future is the one person you grew up hating...but now don’t?

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains summer thunderstorms on the beach, an, er...awkward waterslide incident, and an infuriatingly hot boy who you'll no longer be able to ignore.

This book was like a breath of fresh air. It was the perfect read before classes started back up and I loved every second of it. Stuck With You had alternating chapters told by both Caitie and Caleb, the protagonists. Caitie and Caleb grew up together but drifted apart over the years. When they're forced to spend a week alone together at their family's shared beach house, exciting things happen! I really loved the dynamic between them, it was like no time had passed since the last time they'd hung out. Despite them refusing at first, i really liked that they encouraged each other to follow their dreams. Caleb was so selfless I really appreciated what he was doing for his family, even if it cost him everything. Cannot wait to see what else Christina comes up with. Def recommend this book if you love short, cheesy, ya contemporary novels.

Tough life decisions! Thanks to Entangled Teen and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. Stuck With You by Christina Mandelski! Caleb’s driving across a few states to spend time alone and getting his focus ready for his college experience that will begin in the fall. He and his dog Mo drive from Florida to Texas so they can spend a quiet week at the beach house on the Gulf of Mexico that his family co-owns with their flooring business partners. When he arrives, he realizes that someone is already there, Catie, the daughter of the business and beach house co-owners. She’s just finished her junior year of high school and is with her two best friends relaxing and having a few fun days at the beach. Catie and Caleb have known each other since they were young children and their families went into business together. The two of them had an annoying sibling-type relationship according to Caleb but Catie had a crush on Caleb for quite a while. Things might be starting to change. They both have life decisions that they need to make and can both use some thinking time and space. Hopefully they won’t get in each other’s way. Cute young adult romance, 4 stars! * I received a complimentary copy of this book for voluntary review consideration and all opinions and thoughts are my own.

3.5 stars So often I'll pick up a light book like this to transition between 2 more serious, scary or heavy hearted novels. This read was perfect for just that. It's a sweet highschool, all that lost time, wrong timing right timing, will they won't they, kinda romance. Caleb and Catie (Catie with a C not a K )grow up together as family friends. Their mothers are always pushing for them to be together so they are left to each other's company all the time. In true first-crush angsty-teenager fashion, know-it-all Catie follows too-cool Caleb around, who ignores or snaps back at her pretending not to care. The friendship sours and Caleb moves to Florida, the distance between them cutting all ties. Until years later when they both turn up at Caleb's beach house, each in need of their own escape... Let the sparks ensue! It was a fun read, I enjoyed getting to know the characters, their similarities and differences, the reasons each of them needed the escape, how they came into themselves, and all the quirks of their personalities that made them just work.

This was the first book I read in this universe, but I enjoyed it so much I'm now going to read the others. I loved Caleb and Catie and their story. The author has built a wonderful set of characters that pulled me in and kept me engrossed until the end. I hope to see more from this author.

After reading Love and Other Secrets (book two in this series), I was really excited to read Caleb's story. I loved this book so much that once I started, I couldn't put it down!! Catie and Caleb were basically destined to be together. Their parents are best friends and business partners. Caleb didn't really seem to be down with the destiny set out for him though so before moving to Florida, pushed Catie away. When they both end up at the family beach house for the weekend, they have no choice but to hang together. Over this weekend together, I loved how they pushed each other to acknowledge their goals and acknowledge their feelings for each other. This YA/NA book was the perfect amount of swoon, sigh, and angst!!

Stuck with You is the third book in The First Kiss Hypothesis by Christina Mandelski. I haven't read the second book in this series yet, but this one stood alone just fine. Katie and Caleb were best friends as kids, but as they grew up they grew apart... way apart. It was so much fun watching them come back together. Even though they still know pretty much everything about each other, it was fun watching them get to know each other again as young adults. They were awkward and angry, but also very adorable. They had this intensity to them that you could feel grow page by page. I enjoyed their story quite a bit and look forward to getting my hands on the book just before this one. The ARC of Stuck with You by Christina Mandelski was kindly provided to me by the publisher for review. The opinions are my own.

When they were children Caleb Gray and Catie Dixon use to constantly be thrown together by their parents; family outings, social gatherings, they were always joined at the hip. Then as they began to age, and make new friends in middle school the pair began to drift apart. Ultimately becoming mere strangers to one another... but little do they know they are about to be thrown together again, this time by their mistake. With their first years of college looming, being smothered by their parents expectations, and questioning their futures, these two are both in need of a little downtime. Which places them at their families shared beach house, and facing a reunion they never saw coming! Between the pages of Stuck with You lies a sweet story of young love, friendship, and second chances. Watching these two reunite and try to stand their ground and resist their attraction to one another was quite entertaining. Their stolen glances, awkward interactions, and secret swoons reminded me just how sweet and innocent young love can be... they had me smiling more than a few times. I have to say this first time read left quite the impression, it's well penned words warmed my heart and kept me thoroughly entertained from start to finish! Highly recommend! I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, via NetGalley request, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Rating: 3.5 Stars I wasn't sure about Caleb and Catie, but I was really happy with the way things turned out for them. Caleb and Catie had been in each other's orbits for as long as they could remember. They were childhood friends, who became frenemies in their teens, but it seemed as though both may have been harboring romantic feelings for each other. I am always on board for a friends-to-more romance, and this one had all the things I love in spades. These two had so much history, and many of my favorite moments were when they shared those memories from the past with us. I also adored the way they knew each other so well. They grew up together, and their families were super close, therefore, it was impossible for them to not have a deep connection with each other, and it really added something special to their story. I also really that both Catie and Caleb were at a crossroads in their lives. They were struggling with their pre-destined futures (as determined by their parents), and it was together, that they were able to work through their inner turmoil and build up the courage to take those next steps. A quick list of other things I liked: • Awesome beach setting • Fun antics with the girls • Catie's grandfather and Mo ❤️ • Engineering and protecting the beach from hurricanes • A fantastic epilogue I really enjoyed this friends-to-frenemies-to-more story, and was so pleased with the choices the characters made for themselves and for each other. It had teen antics, some great family moments, and a really sweet romance. The ending was also so, so good, and left me with all the warm and fuzzy feels.
