This book wasn’t bad, but it was just okay. The pacing seems a little rushed, and the dialogue is awkward at times. I just felt like the characters are way too generic. All-American hero type that probably has a secret? Check. Dark broody type that definitely has a secret? Check. Best friend from her youth that has her own life now? Check. I mean, the whole story has just been done before way too many times, and there wasn’t anything about this book that makes me feel glad for having read it. I can overlook cookie-cutter characters and minor grammar errors if there is something notable about the story, and for me, there just wasn’t anything in this book that made me think this story needed to be told. The authors seemed intriguing, and I think that maybe some of their other material could be better. I just wouldn’t recommend this story to an avid reader and expect them to be impressed a

Amazing book! Well written with a compelling plot. I loved the development of the characters. I've found a new series to love.

Overall storyline was good. Editing issues: obviously only spellcheck was used as an editor. And the ridiculous modeling references were annoying.

Just got my copy the other day, must be a newer edition as there were no issues with mine. LOVE the chemistry between Charisse and Abram. Abram's is the hottest book boyfriend.

A lot going on and lacked luster.

Funny, but the end feels sloppy. I wish the author had let someone help with editing. It would make the story easier to read.

I hate cliff hangers. This book was ok, not great but not bad.

Interesting storyline. Several editing and grammatical errors throughout which I find disruptive to enjoying the story.

As always the authors give a unique spin to their world building, without giving any spoilers. This is a new take on the old story of beauty and the beast with twist and turns that give it a modern paranormal twist

This book was fabulous. From the beginning until the end it kept me totally enthralled. The author made a contemporary Beauty and the Beast storyline that resembles and at the same time is completely different than the other one. Great Story!

It was good to start then the climax which you saw coming. Then the book kept going. Then wished it would die already. 5 in the beginning, after the climax 3, in the end 1. Money not well spent.

Wish reviews would say it’s written in 1st person. I HATE 1st person! To know ahead would save time & effort
