Taken (Blue Barbarian Series, #3) by Rena Marks

BOOK 3 in the Blue Barbarian Series
Miranda & Aschero's story

As if things weren't hard enough when I was taken by aliens, ten of us human females are dumped onto a strange new planet to integrate with the barbaric natives. But the last thing I remember is I refused to tie myself to anyone.

Now I awaken from an overdose of medicinal tea with bizarre gaps in my memory, and I'm mated to Aschero, one of the sexy blue barbarians I'd been fooling around with. As my memories return, I try to piece together the puzzle of why my life is so different than what I remember.

Unfortunately, along with my memories comes a horrible secret I want so desperately to bury, but each day inches closer to exposure.

I think this is my favorite, so far, of Ms Marks' Blue Barbarian series. I really liked Miranda. She was a strong character with a mind of her own, even as her circumstances changed. I love the way the women are accepted on this new planet and become a part of this barbarian family. And the love story is an added bonus. The dedication these males have to their women is one of my favorite aspects, and Aschero is no different. In fact, the way that he takes over care of the sick earthling is commendable. The story is sweet and romantic, sometimes violent and of course erotic. With each book, we learn more about the planet these ten women have been stranded on and the people who the count on for their care. With each book, the aliens learn new things from the earthlings (who are the real aliens on this planet of blue people) and are taught more about those they are living among. I believe the author's writing improves with each book, and I look forward to her next one.
