Can't wait to start this diet plan! I'm a huge fan of Dr. Fred's work and I'm looking forward to finally reading a diet book written by an actual doctor. I can't wait to try all the recipes and meal plans!
I hate to give one star reviews. I prefer that people actually try it themselves. But with this book... The A-List Diet is a pretty typical high protein, low carb diet. Except there were so many supplements, protein shots, amino acids, etc. It got overwhelming and very expensive. Dr. Fred sells them on his website, but they were more expensive and out of stock until the end of May. Kind of a let down! My recommendation trying the Hungry Chick Dieting Solution. No fancy gimmicks. Just better eating and weight loss. The tips about drinking water and determining your ideal weight goals, you know how much you should end up actually weighing is worth the price of the book alone. It will help you break through plateaus that stall weight loss and it will stop weight fluctuations.
The recipes are easy to follow and are easy on your wallet. Most importantly it gives you the servings so you have plenty of leftovers and none of the meals leave you feeling sluggish. As a person that had portion control issues this has been an amazing guide to clean eating and feeling full. I finally feel like I am starting to get my life back.
