I did like this short story - 90 pages - it was a fun short read, wish it had been longer with more insider detail - interaction with the pack families etc. I do prefer reading her MC series though and hope for more ICE/HAMMER/COAL etc.
Meh....it was ok. Only 97 pages with the first 116 being used for useless drival. Wish the author could could have put more effort into the plot and story, she had a good start, it just didn't go anywhere.
Holy Moly!! This is a winner from Jessie Lane. I loved the paranormal parts of the Alpha’s Secret Family. The fact that an Alpha chooses a human as his mate is bound to make some people mad. Of course, it does. I read each page carefully, looking for clues as to who would want Dia dead but really had no clue until the very end. This was a fun read. The fact that it wasn’t a simple two people meet fall in love and get married story was wonderful. There was love, romance, and steamy loving but there was also family ties and respect. I liked that Dia lost her memory, she had no clue where she was, who Stone was, or what her history was. Yet, she never gave up hope that it would all work out. Dia kept her head up, worked towards getting better, and was determined to make a life for herself. Stone never gave up on her. He gave her clues to her past life without being pushy or forcing it on her. This is a new set of characters for me from Jessie Lane and I love them. They are fun, sexy, sassy, and just wonderful. I recommend picking up your own copy ASAP.
