Have you heard from your Inner Critic lately? I used to hear from mine almost daily until I read this book. Mine seemed to know just what to taunt me about: past mistakes, current failures and physical flaws were on my B****'s agenda. Her memory was flawless. Now I know what to do to identify myB****--a major step--and how to quell her. The result is a happier life, thanks to this book. I really like the way THE B**** IN YOUR HEAD is organized into chapters with easily recognizable titles such as Beauty and the B, the B at work, the Party B. This makes it easy to jump right on your worst Inner Critic. The B is smart and sneaky. I keep a copy of this book handy so I can review its techniques and renew my mental resources. Now, I don't have to let the B**** creep up on me. I can get out out of my head and out of my life.
I highly recommend this book. It is a practical way to deal with all kinds of personal, social and professional problems. The author is very clear and has lots of ways of dealing with the voice of the Bitch within. Get it for yourself and friends who need help. Or read it in your book group and discuss what whether you agree or disagree with her suggestions. Better yet, you can even write the author is you have questions or problems. Or invite her to attend your group's meeting! It is hard not to recognize yourself in these scenarios. Learn to grow and be free from that nasty voice within!
