This book is inspiring me on a whole new level. In his new book, Dan Buettner goes a step further – after visiting the places around the world called Blue Zones where the longest living people can be found, he is trying to convey longevity and happiness recipe to all the rest of us. He takes into consideration the habits of those people, not only their diets, and in a kind of reverse-engineering delivers the advices about the key factors that influence our health and quality of our living. Conducting an extensive research with his team, Buettner came up with the four key factors for better life: the regular moderate exercise such as walking, the use of some sort of stress management such as meditation, healthy diet in which emphasized are whole foods while sugar and fat are avoided, and probably the most important component – to live our life with the meaning and purpose, full of love and understanding. In short - eat well, stress less, move more and love more… If you are like me and are trying to eat healthier, I’d also recommend that you buy a copy of “Conquer Your Kitchen… The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution Cookbook Reference Guide” from Chef Jai Scovers as well and its companion cookbook, “Simple, Healthy & Delicious...” Both are on sale for Nook. The charts for food storage, in one of them, are worth the costs of the book alone.

I like the information and the really simple but good recipes. I hear this same type of diet information repeated by many doctors and those interested in the nutrition field.
