Most Helpful Customer Reviews
This book is the best cookbook for eating healthy that I have ever read. The first 50-60 pages of the book goes into a very good overview as to why sugar and processed foods are so bad for you and how these foods affect your body and leads to overweight and obese people. The recipes are great, most are easy to make and I've lost a lot of weight in the 3 weeks that my wife and I have been eating healthy. The author has another book, Fat Chance, that goes into much more detailed reasons for doing away with sugar and processed foods in your diets and how those foods affect your body, but after reading it, I felt the cookbook's first 50-60 pages of information was a great overview for Fat Chance and if you feel the need for more information after purchasing and reading the cookbook, then buy that book also. I also highly recommend purchasing a regular book version of this book in lieu of purchasing on a reader, which I did. It will make going back to the various recipes easier, or if purchasing via a reader, make note of the pages of recipes that interest you, so you can go back to them at a later time.
