About the Author

Fred Saberhagen  is a widely published and highly acclaimed author of science fiction and fantasy. His most popular series are: Berserker, Swords and Lost Swords, and Dracula. Born in Chicago in 1930, he served four years in the US Air Force, worked at a variety of odd jobs, including a stint in the editorial office of Encyclopedia Britannica.  In 1975, Fred with wife, Joan, and their three young children moved to New Mexico where Fred pursued a full time writing career. Fred passed away in 2007

If the book is unreadable, archive and dowload again. Customer service is very helpful. The storyline is compelling and it is well written. A definite favorite of mine.

Excellent story line. It was hard to put this one down. I am definately going to purchase the next one in the series. I have read this series before, but it was so long ago that it is brand-new to me again.
