A unique dystopian thriller with twisting time jumps and a cast of interesting characters. I've never read anything like it!

World-building was amazing, complex but simple enough to understand without problems when concentrated. There was many characters and their age variated, which is fresh for YA books, especially the ones that are part of dystopian genre. I also loved the unique mix of genres and how they worked together to make the book interesting. For a debut author I say this is exceptional and really wonderful - I can't wait for the sequel!

The basic storyline sounded good, but this ended up being one of the most confusing books I've read lately.  Too much jumping around to different times and locations---very hard to follow.
