Classic Ouspensky, also try and read Gurdjieff if you can, it will blow your mind!

Not buyin' it. "Tertium Organum" was so much better. Ouspensky should have stuck to re-hashing the arguments of others.

The only aspect of the Work, or, Fourth Way, this book lacks (and keeps it from being comprehensive) is the information on sex that's included in IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS. That aside this book is mandatory. I have copies of IN SEARCH..., THE FOURTH WAY and THE PSYCHOLOGY OF MAN'S POSSIBLE EVOLUTION stapled and taped together as one book. THE FOURTH WAY is, for the most part, question and answer and reads fast and to the point and is structured (and with a good index) so that you can find individual subjects easily. Each chapter is devoted to a large separate aspect of the Work. Don't get jaded on how valuable and rare the knowledge in this book is. (Especially when it's played and made into your spiritual body in real life...)

This book came highly recommended by other professionals in the field of self help and psychology. I found it disappointing at best. Each chapter was littered with redundant questions which never reached the goal of actually revealing "The Way" as promised. The anticipated Fourth path was never exposed and remains as mysterious as before. I'm not fond of paying for something just to be riddled to death. I can't understand the attraction. Sorry!
