The Girl from Krakow is a wonderful book that pays tribute to the atrocities of the Second World War. The author does a great job of highlighting the confusion and tragedy, but also shows that there was much beauty lingering throughout the war despite everything. The book is filled with philosophical and historical references, political banter and scientific theory. Don't get lost while you read this masterpiece!

this book is really a companion guide to the complete book, like a Cliff's Notes version, and not a version of the original book. Be aware of the difference.
