The Pelican and the Whale: A Children's Poem about Faith

The Pelican and the Whale meet in a most unusual way. In this "Jonah and the Whale" adventure a frightened pelican learns many unusual things. The lonely pelican is desperately searching for an escape from the belly of the whale. In his solitude, the pelican fi nds comfort through prayer. As the pelican embraces God, he discovers that his faith guides him through a very diffi cult time. Once the pelican is free, he gives thanks to God and expresses appreciation for his newfound friend.
