The Poems of Lal Ded

This is a reprint of existing translations of the poetry of Lalleshwari, also known as Lal Ded. No new translation or scholarly interpretation is offered here. While many intellectual and academic studies of Lalla's work exist, this book does not attempt to enter that discourse.
The intention is simpler: to allow the reader to encounter the poetry itself. These verses are presented as they are-nothing added, nothing argued-so they may be experienced directly.
