The Process of Forgiveness: the Effect in Marriage

When we say, “I forgive you”, the heart hears “I love you”

Thomas and Natasha Gibson share his and her story of a journey of reconciliation; from meeting, to marriage, divorce, and remarrying each other.

For the first time, in book form, the Marriage Coaches have laid out their powerful, God-given Process of Forgiveness, the effect in marriage. From stories to practical Process of Forgiveness worksheets, it’s not just a book, it’s a toolkit for marriage.

One couple said:  “the practical skills you taught transformed our marriage. Truly remarkable Marriage Coaches!” ~ S. & S. R

Learn the difference between sorry and forgiveness, how to identify the root of the conflict, how to handle difficult conversations with confidence and so much more.

Imagine a wall that is made of many bricks and you desire to get to the other side of that wall. You only have two tools; a chisel, and a hammer.  How would you approach this situation? You would dismantle the wall by removing one brick at a time. The same goes for resolving marital conflict. Every issue in your marriage is a representation of a brick in the wall which has been built between you and your spouse. During the process of conflict resolution, you have to focus on one conflict or 'brick' at a time.

This book is designed to walk you through marital conflict in a Godly way. Through our story and the principles in God’s word, we will equip you with all you need to remove those problematic bricks and build successful ones in their place.

Together we will walk through the following steps:

  • The Power of Perception,
  • Knowing the difference between Sorry vs Forgiveness,
  • Steps to identifying the root of conflict,
  • How stubborn relationship issues have a spiritual connection,
  • Learn the biblical method to confront and communicate with confidence,
  • Having difficult conversations with confidence,
  • The Process of Forgiveness,
  • The Roles of the Offender and the Offended,
  • The Power of Prayer and so much more.

By the time you read the last page, you’ll know it’s possible to build the successful marriage you both desire.

It’s our prayer and belief that what God did for us, He will do for you.
