The author wrote this memoir of the eventful first twenty years of his life before he died in 2020 at the age of 84. It has been collated and completed for publication by his widow Joy. Brian Eldridge's aim was to chronicle this period in his life for his daughters and grandchildren and for Joy, as they knew little of this period of his life.
