Family is all that ever mattered to New York native Lenox Santiago. In the mid-1970s at the age of thirteen, being the eldest of six siblings, he would do whatever it took to protect and keep them together. After losing most of them to the streets of New York, he had nearly given up hope of ever having a family again. As fate would have it, he meets a mysterious, intriguing and very secretive woman, In what's considered by some an unorthodox manner, years later following several children who he adores, as well as several failed relationships. It is with this woman of mystery that Lenox believes he can begin his life over again. Little does he know, the subject of his interest and desire has a past which will leave him astounded, as well as a family of tremendous wealth and prestige who will test his loyalty to and love for her. The events that follow the couple's initial meeting will have Lenox crossing the Atlantic to unfamiliar destinations, being exposed to a lifestyle even more foreign to him and questioning and rethinking the relation.
