The Sword of Merlin

The knowledge of Merlin and the powers he had were lost to most of the world, specifically the existence of his sword. Forged by Merlin himself and infused with power, it could magnify the abilities of whoever wielded it. A single line of his descendants had passed down the sword from generation to generation.
