Gathered into one volume by intrepid chrononauts and world-renowned anthologists Ann and Jeff VanderMeer, this book compiles more than a century's worth of literary travels into the past and the future that will serve to reacquaint readers with beloved classics of the time travel genre and introduce them to thrilling contemporary innovations.

Martin, Michael Moorcock, H. G. Wells, and Connie Willis, as well as helpful non-fiction articles original to this volume (such as Charles Yu's "Top Ten Tips For Time Travelers").
In fact, this book is like a time machine of its very own, covering millions of years of Earth's history from the age of the dinosaurs through to strange and fascinating futures, spanning the ages from the beginning of time to its very end. I love time travel stories so I expected to like this book , but for some reason it's formatted in a way that leaves very wide margins on both sides of the text . That makes the prose look a lot like poetry , and puts fewer than normal numbers of words on each line which becomes very tiring to read . Changing the text size doesn't affect this . Maybe it won't bother some people but it sure irritated me, enough to abandon the book and wish that I hadn't spent the money on it .
I would go back in time to when marilyn .onroe was alive and save her if any one breaks the code to time traveling let me know 1-319-573-5340
