The Translator and the Stone

This biography tells the story of a man most readers will not have heard of. He was not a pastor or a televangelist. He did not lead a megachurch or write a bestseller. For most of his working life he earned his wages as a janitor in the Pacific Northwest, emptying trash cans and mopping floors and locking doors behind him at the end of the day.

Beside that working life, quietly and for nearly sixty years, he translated the Bible.
