Women who have obtained leadership positions face many challenges and barriers during their career journey. Often overshadowed by male leadership roles, underrepresentation of women in the same positions experience gender bias, role stereotypes and other obstacles. These factors may have an effect on current and future generations of women who aspire to obtain these same roles.
