It gives great insight on why Ansel would betray his sister. Ren and Logan are involved un this book. It explains a lot about Ansel. You could feel his pain and anger. I bought it because i live the nightshade series and i thought thst it seemed interesting how Ansel could have possibly escape from the Keepers. Just buy it. It. Is. Awesome. And dont forget to buy Rift, the new nightshade novek coming in August 2012!!!!

I saw that it had 36 pages, and got excited. Then I read it and found that it had only 21. The other 15 are an excert from the next book. BloodRose I think. I already own and have read all the printed books, so that was a bummer... :( But outside of the fact I felt jipped when I finnished, it was still really really good. I would recomend this book to anyone who has at least read the first book, or is planning too. You'll get the story better.

I don't like this side of Ren that they show. You get a look at Ansel and how he got to the agreement to betray Calla, but this is after they have tortured him and done all the bad stuff (not being specific here because of spoilers).  Final Thoughts: This is an okay read. It does not really add value to the story for me even though I adore Ansel.

Wow! This was great. I loved seeing things from Anse's POV. And it explains a lot about how things went down in Wolfsbane. I am anxious to see what happens in Bloodrose!
