Overview

None of the old families will offer for his wild young Granddaughter and it wouldn't look good to sell her. Alaska is just about as far away as she can be sent without leaving the Continent.

The Writer has lived in Alaska since 1969 so knows a little bit about the State, even if only by osmosis. She adds a new career every decade or so. Some overlap as she is old, but not THAT old.
