Overview

I lost track of my life.

Spiraling down the rabbit hole, I lost myself and became one of them. Living undercover within the MC, the days bled together as I became absorbed in a life of excess and violence.

Becoming consumed was easy.

Was I Thomas Gallo, good guy and respected cop or Blue, Sergeant-at-Arms of the Sun Devils MC?

Before, I could answer with certainty. But now, there's a darkness that has settled deep in my soul, fusing with my heart and altering my reality forever.

The road I've traveled has been paved with danger, death, and deception.

Roxanne grew up as part of the MC, a victim of her birth. Her life has been treacherous, setting her on a course of torment and destruction.

When our worlds collide, secrets are revealed. Trying to save us from damnation, I fight for redemption and the woman I love.

Oh Thomas' story. So far he has been the mysterious Gallo that we haven't really gotten any info about because he has been undercover for the DEA the entire time the series has taken place. Until now. We got a brief look into who he was in Resist Me because James is Thomas' best friend but that still wasn't enough. The interactions between Thomas and James after he finds out that Izzy and James are together were kind of funny. "So, it's my fault you stuck your dick in my little sister?" I growled, pulling a cigarette from the pack and lighting it. My major complaint was the relationship between Thomas and Roxy (Angel). The book starts with them already having an established relationship and I feel that that took away from the book a little. I always like reading when the two main characters meet and following the progression of their relationship. With the way it already was I definitely didn't get that connection to the characters or them as a couple. Pretty early on, this is a quote from Roxy. He was my rock. The one person I could count on. My everything. I feel we missed out a bit and that was my reasoning for marking it down. I will definitely continue the series and I am really excited to read Anthony's book. I am also hoping that there will be a spin-off novel/novella so that Flash can get a HEA too. I feel pretty bad for the guy. This is one of a very few books I have actually bought the whole series of. Usually, I read series that I get free or extremely low cost and never buy the rest. The Men of Inked series has been worth it on cost and pleasure of reading. Highly recommend all.

Thomas is another alpha male who will do anything to protect his woman and his family; after all, they are his whole world. Thomas has been undercover for years, and has had very little contact with his family. He starts to feel as if he is losing himself to the MC life he is living right now. He has to pretend to be someone else, to do things that he is not proud of, and is desperate for the facade to end. When his sister Izzy gets mixed up in his undercover life, he decides that he's had enough and that the end has come for the Sun Devils MC. With his years of hard work to take the MC down finally coming to fruition, Thomas only has one big problem left, and her name is Roxy. He has his doubts about what to do where she is concerned. He's come to truly care for her, but knows that he can't bring her out of this world and into his real life. Too many people could get hurt. Thomas sees Roxy as the only good thing he has experienced in this life. Since the beginning he has looked out for the red-haired spitfire. Roxy grew up in this life but never truly felt a part of it. Watching her mother move from man to man, she wants more out of her life, and she wants it with Blue. He was the only man who had ever treated her with kindness and respect. When Thomas leaves without a goodbye, Roxy decides that it is time to leave this world behind as well. She wants to become someone who can be respected, and to feel good about herself for a change. What she doesn't expect is for Thomas to come back for her, or how everything will change in the blink of an eye when the truth is finally revealed. I truly loved Thomas and Roxy's story. I really felt Thomas' struggle to overcome the "sins of his past" as he called them. His desire to be better than who he thought he had become, and to reunite with his family. I thought that the author did an amazing job of showing the conflict he felt within as he became immersed in his "real" life again. Even though he was around the people that he loved, his life had changed in ways he could have never imagined, and it left its mark on him. He needed the time to recover from it, and to feel comfortable in his own skin again. Roxy also struggled with some of the same issues. I thought it was great to see both sides of the issues they faced as a couple, and as individuals, learning to cope with this new reality they shared. Let's not forget to mention those steamy sexy times. I especially loved that though Roxy wasn't someone Thomas might see himself with in his old life, that he came to care enough about Roxy to put everything on the line for her. Even though he had been living a lie, she was the one who he had opened up to during his time with the MC. She was the one who saw beneath the facade, and saw the "real" Thomas beneath.

I loved reading Thomas and Roxy/Angel's story. It really gave me a lot of background on how Thomas and Roxy met and her life from past to present and what kind of childhood she had to endure. It's a wonder she wasn't a total mess, just surviving but not really living. Until she meets Thomas. I could feel Roxy's pain coming off the pages. My heart ached for the child she was and the woman she becomes. Thomas comes from an extremely close nit loving family. He has experienced and lived a life completely diferent than Roxy. At times I was laughing out loud at the girls. Izzy,Mia, and Suzy excepted Roxy into the family with open arms and helped her adjust to the Gallo family. The banter between the girls making fun of the guys and sharing secrets was hilarious. Ma and Pop madeRoxy feel so loved. Just like parents are supposed to and how she alway prayed for. At times I was crying like baby. The suspense is intense and kept me reading non stop. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

This Gallo bad boy story has more action & suspense then the others. Thomas's story was exciting to read. The Gallo Family cameos are always the BEST!

I have loved this series, but this one is probably the weakest of them so far. Its like it started in the middle, no back story on how they met, the instant attraction & I'm kinda worried that Anthony's will be the same story. You get some of Thomas's story in Izzy & James's story, but none of the Roxy story.

I think this book is one of my favorites. Yes there may not have been as many love senses but EVERYTHING flowed nicely!! I really love how the family came together to support one of their own. This book was AWESOME!!
