Unsaid Things is another absolute home run for Jerica MacMillian! The story of Abby and Lance was sweet, realistic and full of great college angst that I couldn’t get enough of it. Each time I get to read a new story from Jerica MacMillian I am blown away by how great the stories are and how she builds these great worlds that her characters grow and adapt in. Having the chance to read the entire series, I can’t think of a single thing that could be done better about this entire series, let alone this book specifically. I do hope that MacMillian continues this series on, as the characters feel like they still have a story to tell. This may be the 4th book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone, I do recommend that they be read in order as the characters really come to life when read in order.

Unsaid Things (Players of Marycliff University Book 4) by Jerica MacMillan is the fourth book in her Players of Marycliff University series. This book is the continuation of her book Summer Fling, I highly suggest reading that one first before this one. This story is about what happens when life gets a little messed up that you have family to turn to. This author has great writing style and amazing details in her stories. Her characters are true to life, connectable and true to life. This is the continuation of Abby and Lance's story. Just when Lance feels like they are ready for the next step, Abby's brother shows up. What will happen when he turns everything upside down? Abby is determined to take on her brother's issues by herself but will she finally see that Lance is there for her too? These are two strong characters that just keep going. Lance wants her to see that he is in for the long haul but how will he convince her of that? Abby puts up another hurtle for Lance and starts pushing him away. Will he have enough strength to break those walls? One thing about Abby that is a little frustrating is her willingness to compromise. Is it that she just needs to learn to compromise or is it she is just that independent? These two have so much chemistry that it just is irritating when she starts pushing Lance away. I just wanted to ask her, what is she doing, can't she see what is right in front of her? I found myself hoping that they would find their HEA. The secondary characters are both lovable and dislike-able. But they really do help make the story flow and it wouldn't be the same without them. I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to see what happens to Lance and Abby. Will they over come life struggles to find their HEA?
