Had I known that this was a very short book with added short versions to promote other Fern Michael's books ,I would not have bought it. I don't like reading books that have no ending or are just the forerunner to the next book in that series. I just finished the Sisterhood series and liked all of them,so this was not a good way to continue on with the same characters.

I was very disapointed in this book and Fern Michaels. I will not spend the money for the sequel. Not only is it too short but it leaves you hanging. Being short is could be a good thing because it is boring.

This is truly upside down...because she has taken the old worn out plot line from her other books and flipped it so the men are now doing the vigilante work. Why not try to have an original thought once in a while

While I love the authors work, I didnt like purchasing what I thought was a novel and getting a novella.  At least with the sisterhood series each was a book in its own right.  This "book" is actually the beginning of a book.  If this is the direction Fern Michaels js moving in I will stop reading her works.

I am so disapointed re the length of the first 2 books. I was expecting full size novels. The plots are repeat of some of the Sisterhood storie s.

Title: Upside Down - The Men of the Sisterhood Book 1 Author: Fern Michaels Published: 8-29-14 Publisher: Kensington Publishing Group / Zebra Books Pages: 89 Pages Genre: Mystery, Thrillers & Suspense Sub Genre: Serial, Women's Fiction ISBN: 9781420134957 ASIN: B00JFABVZO Reviewer: DelAnne Reviewed For: NetGalley . If you have read any of the Sisterhood books, especially the later ones then you have met the main characters already. All but Annie and Myra of the Sisterhood have gone on with their personal lives and work. The men of BOLO have given of their talents to the Sisterhood, but have decided the time has come to carry on the work alone. In this 3 book series they have learned a few things from the sister as well as some ideas of their own. Upside Down allows us to find out what has been happening in the lives of the men and women. It also introduces us to BOLO's first case. The men have learned from Harry of an influential couple are the owners of a number slum tenements, one in which three children died from neglect by the owners and the property manager to take care of problems with rats and cold. Tyler and Fiona Sandford have hidden behind numerous shell companies and a property management company. It is time for someone introduce them to the justice they have avoided because of money and powerful political connections. The men of BOLO are more than happy to take on the task. This is not a standalone book, but rather ends in a cliff hanger. Amazon link: Barnes and Noble link: Goodreads link: The Reading Room link:

Nice setup for a new Series. But am hoping that the books that come next are Full stories. Wish I had known it was only to set the whole series up.

In this installment, the women leave a lot to be desired. Independence is a wonderful thing, but not when you deliberately hurt the ones who love you the most. Maggie has always been my least favorite, and she still is. This is not a complete story and could easily be combined with the others instead of making three books out of it.

I have almost all of her books. They are interesting, non-repetitive, good humor & story. Easy reading for pleasure.

I loved the Sisterhood series so when this new 'Men of the Sisterhood' series appeared I was very happy! I've read the first two books and both are fun, quick reads heavy on escapism. Just what I want when I want to relax. Sure they're formulaic, but they're pure entertainment. Period. Enjoy!
