A phenominal book from a superb writer. Violin grows up right before our eyes. Unexpected twist. Well done.

Insightful, lyrical, felt the breath of every word. The passion in which this author delivers the story is authentic. I found it to be more than a book about domestic abuse. It is more a story of love ripped apart at the core.

Great book! It is truly more than just a novel. An inner city kid impacted by domestic violence, self loathing, and a protective love for the woman he loves, oh yes, many can relate.
