Sydney and Chas are steaming up the E-reader screens in this awesome story dealing with a dominating, sexy, gorgeous Marine and the love he left behind. Coming home is a hard enough adjustment but when you add in a bad case of PTSD, it's even harder. Be sure you're sitting in front of a fan when you crack open this sizzling HOT book! Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

Mari Carr did a fantastic job relating the behavior of someone suffering from PTSD. This story has sorrow, laughs and steamy sex. The Sparks Family are carving their way into my heart. Looking forward to the next in the series....Something Sparked. recommend reading

As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by KittyKelly 3.5 out of 5 Licks This is definitely an emotional read. Chas returns from several tours in the military and Sydney is thrilled to have him back home. He's spent so much time away over the years that she wasn't sure she still knew him, but he came home with a new mission. He decided it was finally time to make her his. But Chas is suffering from PTSD and after he accidentally hits Sydney he spends a lot of time beating himself up. It was hard to watch them stumble through the aftermath, but in the end love is always worth the rough times. This is a quick read that will have you looking forward to your next trip to Texas with Mari Carr.
