Reviewed by Mary DeKok Blowers for Readers' Favorite What’s In Your 24 by Dana Simone Stovall condenses lots of common sense into just 60 pages. A time management system at its core, it really is so much more. Stovall’s gimmick is to list the hours in a day (12 of them) and provide important points for each. Presumably the other 12 hours are for eating, sleeping, and exercise.  The 12:00 section displays a great list of TETs (Time Efficiency Tips) such as how to pack for a trip, how to avoid eating too much of the wrong things, and how to make sure you drink enough water. There are some great ideas here about being goal oriented and focused on your dreams. I especially love the sneaky tips on how to exercise when you think you don’t have time. Stovall really has some unique and creative ideas to help you with time management. Underlying the whole thing is an admonition to take care of yourself. If you don’t eat properly, drink enough water, get enough sleep, and exercise, you won’t be at your best to do your job or take care of anyone else.  These are great reminders, especially the one to take care of yourself first. It’s sort of like the airline safety instruction to put on your own oxygen mask first before assisting another passenger. If you pass out (or break down in some way from doing too much) you’re not of any use to them. What’s In Your 24? by Dana Simone Stovall is a fun and quick read and just may help you be more efficient.

This book is useful for women that are seeking time management skills. The author gives suggestions on how to set goals. The goals range between getting your dream job to making a perfect dinner. She suggests that instead of chatting with the other soccer mom's you use the practice time for yourself and exercise, get your nails done or run an errand that needs to be done. Some things are pretty easy and common practice, but she has a lot of worth while suggestions on how to run your life smoothly. The book took less than an hour for me to read and I feel it was well worth it. Rating: 4 NO Heat Rating Reviewed By: Rae Courtesy of My Book Addiction And More
