this book was not a love story, it was basically an excuse to describe people having sex. most of the "situations" could have been avoided if the characters had taken the time to get to know each other first instead of jumping in the sack after date one. the fact that this "relationship" developed into more than a booty call was amazing. so, if you like to read about people having sex, it was good. if you are looking for an actual romance, not so much.

Couldn't get interested in the characters or writing style. He's devastatingly handsome, but is too busy expanding his successful travel business so he can use the money to help support his parents. His dad was disabled in an auto accident and his mom quit her job to care for his dad. Just couldn't get into his hot-cold indecisiveness on whether to pursue the relationship. Backstory about being rejected by his fiance when she wanted to be his priority even after his parent's accident, adding to his fear of commitment, is brushed over in "here's what happened" fashion. She's a successful writer for an elite magazine, who doesn't want to be seen as desperate, so asks her gay coworker to pretend to be her date for her sister's engagement party. Couldn't reconcile her confident business personality with her needy fears about being without a date and lack of confidence to reach out to him, despite a mutual attraction. Not one of this author's best.

Very juvenile. Weak characters, weak plot line and supporting characters weren't well developed. I had to force myself to finish reading. I will skip the sequels.

Very short, it could have been much better. I hope this is a new author since the grammer etc wasn't done very well. Had to skip over it to finish . Hopefully your other books are better.

Will to Love is a story about two people who have given up on love. Both having endured hurt and heartache have decided to focus their energy on their careers and leave the happily ever after to others. Neither expected to find the perfect match for them at an engagement party of all places. Despite the fact that the story started off a little slow, I found it an enjoyable read. I even bought book 2 in the series.

An enjoyable light read. Some of the drama(ex. Karen) was too contrived and detracted from the story instead of enhancing it.

Not well developed. Ok characters and story line. Not real deep but quite a bit of repetitive sex, not very creative. Not bad for free.

Kind of short but still a good book. Can be read as a stand alone novel even though it's part of a series since each book focuses on a different couple.

A fun romantic romp with some steamy sex thrown in ... something you can always expect from Miranda Charles. Clarise and Will are both trying to avoid being setup by their friends - Clarise struggles to move on from a bad relationship breakup and Will is focused on his business and doesn't want the distraction. When they accidentally get connected on their own, we get to enjoy the sparks that fly. Clarise did frustrate me at times - it has been 9 years since her last long-term relationship and she still let's this cloud/guide her decisions. It was good to finally see her shed the fears she had and allow herself to trust someone new. Will is dedicated to his parents and makes his decisions to make sure they are set so this forces all his time to his business. It was great to see him realize that there are other things worth the same level of importance as he let himself get to know Clarise. A fun, quick read that was a great weekend escape.

Enjoyable read. Typical story - guy not ready for a serious relationship; girl falling in love way too fast for the amount of time they spend together. But hey - when you know, you know. Good writing style. Would definitely read more by this author.
