Win by Vera Nazarian

The Games are Forever!

It's one thing to Qualify and Compete...

Now she must Win.

Gwen Lark, nerd, geek, and awkward smart girl, is among the lucky ones. She's one of several million teenage refugees to escape the extinction-level asteroid barreling towards Earth and reach the ancient colony planet of Atlantis.

But Atlantis is a strange new world with higher gravity and a blazing white sun, where nothing is as expected. The new arrivals from Earth will now belong to the majority class of non-citizens who face a lifetime of hard work and limited rights.

To make matters worse, Gwen's rare and powerful talent, her Logos voice, is viewed as a potential weapon to be exploited by the Imperator, as well as a threat to the Kassiopei Imperial Dynasty and its uncompromising control over the people of Atlantis.

A last-minute heartbreak prior to arrival turns to joy, when Gwen receives a declaration of love from an unexpected source. The Wedding date is set, but before she can be joined with her true love, she is forced to compete in the brutal and deadly Games of the Atlantis Grail to save herself, her family, friends, and everything she cares about. Once again, her intelligence, quick thinking skills, resilience, and creativity are challenged to the breaking point.

The Games are monumental, intricate, lethal . . . and the Games are Forever.

This time Gwen must fight and figure her way through the most difficult and sophisticated contest she has ever faced. Terrifying Ordeals and impossible Challenges, ruthless skilled Competitors, vicious secret assassins, and dubious teammates she must work with but cannot trust, are just the beginning. . . .

Meanwhile, as the Games rage, the fate of two worlds is at stake as a new alien threat looms over Earth and Atlantis.

But Gwen Lark has a secret weapon of her own. It's not her Logos voice and its untapped power to control orichalcum technology and perpetuate change.

It is Gwen herself.

WIN is the third book in The Atlantis Grail series.

Vera writes such an amazing and intricate story that is just mind boggling in its creativity. They amount of research, skill, and just plain originality is unbelievable. All of the books in this series are so wonderfully thought out and entertaining but this one is particularly gratifying. I felt totally immersed in the story and got no sleep because I could not put it down! Thank you, Vera!

Tore through the first three books in this series in a matter of days, recommending them to every reader I know. REALLY hope the next one is published before I perish from unsatisfied curiosity and that nothing happens to the characters while we wait - because I'm quite certain they're real and out there somewhere...

Vera Nazarian's Win is a masterpiece! Her creativity and imagination know no bounds. Just when I think it's not possible to top Qualify and Compete, she blows me away with her ingenuity and flair for immersing you in the story, for making you care even more about the wonderful world she has created. I have 2 favorite series, and this is one of them. Now, time to reread Win.

I have been captivated by this series since stumbling upon the first book. I have been blown away by the spectacular emotional roller coaster, so easily done considering how effortless it is to put yourself in each characters place. The plot, charaters, and general description of people places and objects are truly remarkable.

OMG! I have fallen in love with a book series! I am not much of a writer but I love to read! This series of books has captured my heart and imagination in a way no others have for a long time. I absolutely marveled at the ingenuity of the story, the immense imaginative power of the writer and the plots twist and turns that kept me from putting the book down. The characters were brought wonderfully to life for me, so that I cried, grieved, felt unbridled joy when they did. I have just completed book three and now feel as if I have lost my best friends. Book four cannot come soon enough! Thank you Vera Nazarian!

This third book of the Atlantis Grail series captured me from the first sentence, and didn’t let go until I’d finished it. The non-stop action alone was enough to elevate my heart-rate and keep me awake nights. While Gwen Lark had to call upon every resource she had to survive the impossible challenges of the Games, the love she shares with the one she had lost all hope of winning gives her the motivation she needs just to stay alive. I eagerly await the next Atlantis Grail book. This is a series I will re-read over and over. It is THAT good.

FINALLY HERE!! Finally this book is out! It feels like forever since I finished Compete and have waiting for the continuation of the story! Win is the third book in the Atlantis Holy Grail series. If you are looking for a well written dystopian book series, and liked the Hunger Games series, this is a good one to read. You can read this as a standalone book but I would not recommend it. You really need to read the books in order. Win begins where Compete ended and it ends in a cliffhanger for the next book. There is a lot of violence. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. The author has done a good job of describing The world and people of Atlantida (the new Atlantis). The characters are multidimensional and well written, even if you don't like them (such as the Archaeon Imperator). The world the author has created and vivid, and makes it easy to picture in your mind. As usual, everything and everyone are not as they seem. While this is a long book, at over 900 pages, you get so caught up in the story and don't want it to end. Now I have to try to be patient while waiting for the author to publish the next book in the series.

What a fantastic addition to this series. I love these books and can't get enough of them. I finished this 3rd book and started over with book 1 again. Now I'm back to reading book 3. I anticipate reading it many more times between now and when book 4 comes out.

In a word - INCREDIBLE!! The latest installment in the Atlantis Grail series is a page-turner from start to finish. So much detail, so much heart - characters are wonderfully written. Lots of surprising twists and turns! I loved it so much, I went back and re-read the whole series.

Could not stop reading truly a great read

I loved the plot line leading up to the games. Only complaint is that the ending felt a little abrupt and at times the first stage of the games felt a little too similar to the hunger games with hot zones etc. Don't be intimidated by the length of the book. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down.
