Sophie Pierce has shed every part of her old life. She's said goodbye to her father, the friends she once partied with, and even the man she may have lost her heart to. Now, it's time for her to spread her wings and become the person she wants to be, and she's ready to work for it. But much like the paparazzi she's come to despise, the past will sneak up on her. It's only a matter of months before she learns that her final night in Vancouver wasn't the end at all. It was the beginning.
When Tennyson Wright let Sophie go, he knew something had to change. He'd lost sight of who he was, and the wakeup call wasn't pretty. Deciding to take a page from Sophie's book, he begins a journey of self-discovery, but everything comes to a screeching halt when he learns through the tabloids that the girl he can't stop thinking about is pregnant.
Their romantic relationship may have ended, but soon their co-parenting responsibilities bring them together to play the Hollywood game by their own rules.

*4.5 Stars* First, I would say I love the actual story. I felt so much for Sophie and Tennyson. Seeing the rest of the journey was astounding. The character development continued to grow which I didn't think was possible. Once again, it was more than just Sophie and Tennyson, the secondary characters shined even brighter than before. It truly became about finding one's place in the world and family being so much more than genetics. Cara Dee also hit home when it came to co-parenting with love and facing insecurities. I loved every single second of each character's journey. The world building was less than I normally expect. I think that was more a writing style issue for me. It was rather chopping for my tastes though I can understand why the author chose to do it that way. It just didn't resonate with me, which is why I took a subjective half star away. Overall though the story was excellent, I loved seeing the journey and hope to see even more. This truly is a romance story that is incredibly realistic; it reaches the heart completely.
