Having been a fan of this author for many years, pre-ordered this book and it has not disappointed. I am in my 50's and trying to keep extra weight from creeping on due to life and metabolism changes. Recipes from previous Zero Belly Diet books are delicious, but I have become a fan of smoothies to start my day and was looking for more combinations. The smoothie combinations in this book are easy to make with most supplies in my pantry. However, I am changing the type of protein powder I use through Zinczenko's recommendation as explained in this book. NOTE: Try every one of the yellow banner "Test Panel Favorites!" because these really are delicious. Who knew that black beans paired with nutmeg would be so smooth and yummy?! I look forward to trying each and every combination. Don't shy away from this book if you're not dieting. This book provides a wealth of knowledge to support a healthy life style of eating that will benefit people of all ages, stages, and weight. My goal is to only lose a few pounds, but to maintain a healthy diet (as in way of eating). David Zinczenko writes with a wealth of research to support his program and in a manner that is easy to read and put into practice. Thank you for another wonderful resource and more delicious recipes.

I bought the book for the smoothie recipes and until now I was a fan of the author. Then I came to page 50 and a single hurtful noun, a vulgar slang and everything changed. As a women I was offended. I agree a "good love life" is important. If the word had been in a novel, made sense to the story line and fit the charter it would not have made an impact. I waited twenty-four hours to see if my feeling changed - No.
