About the Author

Robin C. Brown grew up in Tampa and received his M.D. degree from Tulane University. He practiced medicine in Fort Myers for thirty-six years. A lifelong interest in the early history of Florida led to his first two Pineapple Press books: Florida's Fossils and Florida's First People. He wrote The Crafts of Florida's First People for children because so many fans asked him to.
