Ivan recalls the days in which he recovered Yuri, his youngest brother, from the abusive hands of the Russian military. Ten years after his rescue, Yuri has escaped the facility in America, where he was being held, and has made his way to London in search of Dr. Aleksei Kruchev, the man who institutionalized him. Now, however, Dmitri, brother to Yuri and half-brother to Ivan, has been discharged from the Russian Army. His mind severely twisted and broken from his own days in the military, Dmitri is now on the hunt for one person: his little brother Yuri, and he's not afraid to kill anyone who gets in his way.

This book is not for the faint of heart, nor is it for those seeking the typical romance-style series. I assume the author plans to write more books, and to be honest, I can't wait to read them and find out where this is going! A great weekend read (sure kept me busy) about four men, three raised and brothers, and the struggles they face both among themselves and among society. The only real complaint I have is that it was too short...and now I have to wait until the second book is released. If you're not tolerant to more mainstream topics, then this book is not for you, so be aware of that. Otherwise, enjoy!
