A Smile Remembers

The world is ending. A pandemic ravages the world. My job, gone. My relationship, in ashes. Anxiety attacks and more cigarettes than I can count. That is the stage upon which these poems were written. A melancholic dive into the depths of despair, loss, healing, and redemption. A sojourn through broken hearts, human will, and the meaning hidden between old barn slats and broken promises.
