Coaster Girl

In this funny YA novella, a child prodigy, Maria Torres, wins a roller coaster design contest with a ride that safely jumps the track. She is hired by a company to design rides, but as she becomes more successful she also grows greedy and fights with her family. She even starts to admire Rigel Hemroyd, an evil billionaire owner of rival theme parks, who later kidnaps her and makes her design the ultimate coaster.
