Dave Porter Under Fire (Illustrated)

Dave Porter Under Fire is the 14th in the series. This one tells the a story in which Dave and his friends are carried through various adventures in the U.S. Then, having enlisted in the Army Engineering Corps, they are sent to France during World Ward I. On the way across the Atlantic Ocean, their transport ship is attacked by submarines. Surviving, they render real service and see real fighting. Dave is wounded in his shoulder.
