David Copperfield

David Copperfield is Charles Dickens's semi-autobiographical novel that follows the character and narrator David Copperfield from early childhood, living as an orphan with a stepfather who does not want him underfoot and sends him away. It follows the young David through this period in his life and early work experience to later life where he struggles to live on his own and then married, along with his eventual success as a writer.
